Program Manager

Position Summary:
The Program Manager is
responsible for ensuring the successful progression of customer products from
initial conception to product launch for customers within the specified
transmissions program. This position is in charge of managing the Product
Evolution Process and/or localization process for transmission application
projects (including class A, B, and C projects) within the assigned transmission
program(s) from concept through production as assigned by product line. In addition, the program manager will lead
project/program team members and associated management through successful
completion of the project/program milestones within time and budgetary
constraints while adhering to ZF company policies and standards in addition to
customer requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
+ Lead and manages projects up to class A
which have significantly new content for the manufacturing plant and the
customer and significant investment requirement in addition to class B, C,
and model year changes.
+ Initiate and lead the project core team with
members from all relevant departments and identifies all project relevant
needs, resources or constraints with the core team.
+ Report project status and escalate relevant
issues to management or PT Steering Committee as needed.
+ Lead negotiations for creating product
specifications with customer representatives and ZF functional managers in
case specifications differ from the lead project.
+ Create the gate release reports and oversee
serial production release(s) for the projects.
+ Manage and oversee all other program
management activities to support internal and external customers.
+ Serve as primary contact/liaison to
customer; identify information/data and resources needed by customer, and
ensure timely transfer of such information between appropriate ZF
department/team and the customer.
+ Create the master project plan based on the
core teams input and identify timing issues based on the customers?
project plans.
+ Work with ZF engineering teams (design,
test, controls and resident) and global R&D, in addition to other
departments such as purchasing, quality, and sales, in order to support
business development, capacity, and continuity (core team as defined for
the specific project).
+ Manage and facilitate teams in a crisis mode
with current and/or future production issues.
+ Oversee the project budget; follow-up on
project targets surrounding quality, timing, cost, and resources.
+ Facilitate/conduct the program meetings
regularly in conjunction with engineers, support staff, and managers, and
discuss updates on assigned tasks and project/program targets and milestones.
+ Support the change management process with
respect to cost analysis and engineering change implications (i.e.
quotations, validations, timing, communications to affected
departments/groups, etc.)
+ Promote cohesive project teams; encourage
team members to participate in each team meeting.
+ Routinely provide supervision of a project
or multiple projects to achieve a corporate vision. Develop program plans
and metrics to track and report the status of projects and the overall
program to ZF executive and senior management as well as customer
+ Participate in the development and
continuous improvement of departmental guidelines and procedures.
+ Maintain professional and technical
knowledge by attending educational workshops, formal training, reviewing
professional publications, establishing and expanding professional
networks, and participating in professional societies.
+ Ensure departmental compliance with all
IATF16949 and ISO-14001 requirements, ZF corporate policies, and
divisional directives.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and
+ Bachelor?s
Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related
field10 + years of experience within a product development and/or powertrain
manufacturing environment
+ 5 + years in automotive
+ 3 + years of experience with project leadership in
one or more of the following areas: product engineering, resident engineering,
manufacturing engineering, design engineering, and/or customer quality
+ 6 + years of experience as a project team member
+ Deep knowledge of the structural, procedural, and
technical facets of an automatic transmissions development project
+ Knowledge of 5S and Six Sigma problem-solving
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office
+ Proven organizational and project management
+ Proven leadership ability and experience with
coaching, mentoring, motivation, and conflict management
+ Strong problem solving and analytical skills
+ Ability to influence and engage at multiple levels
within internal and external organizations
+ Good verbal and written communication skills
+ English language competency
+ Ability/willingness to travel both domestically and
internationally (up to 25%)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
