Supply Chain Manager - Inhouse

Position Summary:
The Position is responsible for developing and managing all functions and strategies within the In-House Logistics Department to ensure uninterrupted physical material flow of finished goods, purchased parts and in-house produced/manufactured parts within the whole plant.
Position Responsibilities:
+ Manage the Shipping & Receiving Area including automated warehouses for purchased parts as well as the warehousing at the plant of finished goods.
+ Manage the physical transport of all finished goods, purchased parts as well as dunnage to and from the Shipping & Receiving Area.
+ Manage the physical transport of in-house produced/manufactured parts within all cost centers.
+ Lead and initiate development of the In-House Logistics Department to meet department and company goals.
+ Personnel management of all employees in the In-House Logistics Department.
+ Establish goals and performance indicators for the In-House Logistics Department. Monitor trends and set measures to continuously improve department performance. Ensure corrective actions are taken for any applicable non-conformance.
+ Be up-to-date on new trends regarding material handling equipment to reduce operating costs and to increase availability of parts and equipment.
+ Identify costs and investments and meet budget goals for internal transports and labeling.
+ Manage trainings for new and established employees regarding appropriate working procedures.
+ Determine safety rules and conduct internal audits to ensure required safety standards for all material handlers within the In-House Logistics Department.
+ Manage to load and unload all trucks at ZF Transmissions in time.
+ Next to serial production, manage also the receiving process of all other materials (e.g. MRO material) as well as the packaging and shipping process of any material leaving ZF Transmissions.
+ Manage all shipping and receiving documents and information flow of incoming and outgoing material to and from ZF Transmissions, as well as the internal labeling.
+ Work together as a team with other department managers within the Logistics organization.
+ Support and comply with established Company?s Corporate Principles.
+ Understand and comply with TS-16949 and ISO-14001 requirements.
+ Other duties as it relates to this position.
Essential Skills and Experience:
+ Bachelor?s degree in a related field
+ Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field
+ Minimum of three (3) years? supervisory/managerial experience.
+ Leadership skills; capable of handling employee related issues.
+ Good written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong computer skills are required: SAP; Microsoft Office, Outlook, Project, etc.
+ Ability to prioritize and schedule daily tasks.
+ Must be able to travel-both domestic and foreign.
Preferred Skills and experience:
+ Master?s degree in a related field
+ Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized and able to multi-task.
+ German language skills.
+ Knowledge of ISO-9000, TS 16949 and ISO-14000 standards and requirements.
+ Experience in a JIT/JIS automotive business environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
