Quality Control Supervisor

Description/Job Summary
Supervises and helps train QA lab technicians
Interfaces with other departments to ensure product specifications are met
Address customer requests in a timely manner
Oversees customer complaint system including disposition of material, corrective action and reporting
Maintains test procedures, specifications, and quality records under document control
Interfaces with sales group to define customer needs, and ensures training and documentation is provided to clearly define customer expectations within the production department
Verifies finished product compliance

Minimum of 2 years of college preferably in a science
Five years of BOPP experience and two years of supervisory experience
An additional five years of QA experience may substitute for the college
Ability to apply statistical techniques to analyze test data, monitor equipment calibration, and verify technician accuracy
Must have working knowledge of ISO 9000 and have the ability to maintain the system

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
