Job Description:
This is a Great Opportunity to join a great company and a growing Sector :, Canteen Dining Services.
We are seeking a growth minded Chef Manager for our growing business.
In this role you will be responsible for the success of both the culinary and food service operation.
Responsibilities:
Manage cost controls and control expenditures for the account.
Assist the FSD with planning and creating menu
Produce and execute catering events.
Purchase and manage inventory.
Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with Compass marketing team.
Work well with FOH team to achieve smooth, effective service periods
Qualifications:
Culinary degree preferred
Servsafe Certified a plus
Two years of culinary supervisory experience
High volume production and catering experience is essential
Have a strong passion for food.
Have the strong fundamental cooking skills.
Be able to compose a well balanced menu.
Have a strong leadership presence.
Be able to lead and manage a team, through mentoring and educating.
Be able to direct the flow of the kitchen and understand its systems.
Have computer skills.
Be organized.
Be a forward thinker.
Be hospitable naturally. Great People.
